Join the Sierra Club for a guided 5 km hike to Blue Mountain !
Saturday July 26th from 10am- 2pm
A part of the Sierra Club’s mission is to enjoy nature, as well as protect it, and a hike in the beautiful outdoors is a great way to do just that!
Bob Macdonald from the Halifax North West Trails Association will be taking a group of ~10 on a 5km hike to one of the highest points on the peninsula which provides wonderful panoramic views of several lakes, the Halifax harbour and the windmill in Goodwood.
T his hike is rated beginner (suitable for children 10 and up), and waterproof hiking shoes are recommended as we’ll have to cross a stream or two.

The hike is free and a lunch will be provided at no cost (meat, vegetarian and vegan options available) Please inform us of your choice when you RSVP.
